My ITALY Trip - Part 1

It was an ENJOYING and EXCITING trip!! Everything was so NEW to me... The culture, the people, the language, the structure, the building, the weather, the traffic, everything.. EVERYTHING!!

Day 1 (29/1/2006)
Reached KLIA at 6 something in the evening.. Our departure time was 9pm.. So we just waited at the counter there and chit chatting with my mother's colleagues.. We were all quite excited with this trip and discussing about the snowing news at Milan Airport.. Nothing to worry as we had all well prepared and well packed our things.. In fact, I'm very excited about it.. SNOW!! I love to see SNOW!! Haha~ The last time I saw Snow was during my Europe trip, we even went down the coach and play with the snow.. Snow War!! Haha.. Fun!! Ok.. Back to the topic, after we do all the check-in and those necessary procedure which was quite fast and efficient one, our tour leader - Nicole, brief us about the weather there, 2 hours flight to Bangkok Airport, 12 hours flight to Fumiciuno Airport in Rome, 7 hours behind Malaysia Time and those procedure that we should follow.. Shopped for a while at Bangkok Airport while waiting for our departure time which was at 12 midnight.. The 12 hours inside the plane was not really that bored as most of the time I was eating, sleeping and drinking.. And also, watched a movie called 'Goal!!'.. A nice movie.. Hehe..

Alright... And here we go for my trip in Italy... ^_^

Day 2 (30/1/2006)
Reached Rome at 6 early in the morning.. And it was COLD~~~ First, we went to meet our tour guide who will bring us to the Vatican City to admire the LARGEST church in the world - St. Peter Basilica.. It was really HUGE and the surrounding was so.. so... AMAZING and I was so impressed when I went into the church.. IMPRESSIVE!! Really.. The degree of intelligence and creativity of those artist, architect, designer or whatever it calls is beyond and beyond and beyond your expectation.. Wonder how they can really make it.. All the Renaissance buildings, monuments, masterpieces by them not only in Rome but also other cities we went, was.. speechless.. Respect!! Really respect!!! After my trip to Italy, Michelangelo is my idol and I'm now looking for a book named Da Vincci Code, to explore more about the mistery and history of those masterpieces in Italy.. Haha.. Can see how much I'm into it huh... keke...

After that, we followed Nicole to go back to our coach and off we go to admire the famous Colosseum.. Nicole, I really have to say that she is really very good and she can explain every little details about those masterpieces and history in Italy to us very very well.. *Thumbs Up* As for other trips that I went, usually we need another tour guide at that particular country to bring us around throughout our whole trip but for this time, we don't really have a tour guide and Nicole is the one who take care of us from the first day at KLIA until the end of our trip back to KLIA.. She really knows Italy very well.. As most of the time we need to walk and she knows every little single street in Italy very well.. *Thumbs Up* *Clappssss*

Ok.. About Colosseum.. We have to pay another 5 Euro to go into the Colosseum.. It was raining+cold.. Took some photos there and walk around.. Impressive!! Will show some of the photos later.. Then you will know why I couldn't find the best word to describe it.. AND!!! *roll the drum pls* We went to the place that I anticipating the most - Fountain Trevi!!! where we can throw a coin and make a wish.. Nicole taught us not to face the Fountain, hold the coin, make a wish, right hand holding the coin, throw it through your left shoulder into the fountain.. Cool huh!!! kekekekkee... But the fountain was not as huge as wat I thought it is.. And it was crowded..!! Ate my very first Italy's Ice Cream there.. Yummy!! Haha..!! Ate lots of Ice Cream throughout my whole trip.. kekekeke...

Our lunch.. Made me full like what... U know pizza? Those regular pizza that we always ordered from Pizza Hut as lunch or dinner, few person shared the pizza... And u know wat, we had one regular pizza EACH and this is only the STARTER!! Shocking man.. Hahaha... But really YUMMY!!! Really, YUMMY!! The cheese, the mushroom... GOSH!! I ate more than half of it and here it comes the main course - Grilled Salmon Fish.. DELICIOUS!! EXCELLENT!! What else I can say to describe it..?? And at last, the dessert - Tiramisu Cake.. I run out of adjectives to describe its deliciousness already... Really.. If I'm asked to give a grade for my lunch at Rome --- DISTINCTION!! A++!! *Thumbs Up Up Up* Haha...

Walked around at Piazza I-Forgot-The-Name already... In Italy means Piazza everywhere.. Here Piazza There Piazza Everywhere Piazza... Piazza is not Pizza ok.. Haha =p Anyway... Shopped around, window shopping of course, I'm not afford to buy things there tho I hope I can.. Must control a bit la.. keke... Drank our first Espresso at Italy.. Nicole highly recommended the coffee in Italy (Italiano called Espresso as coffee) to us and so we tried.. I will show the photo of the Espresso in these few days.. It is not cheap if convert to RM.. A very very small cup with a little espresso inside (half of the very very small cup).. Very 'thick' but it taste good.. A Good Try!! *wink*

Dinner at a Chinese Restaurant.. I didn't really eat cos I'm too full for the lunch we took... In fact, we all don't really have appetite for the dinner that nite... After dinner, went to the Hotel named Pisana Palace and ZZZZZzzzzzzzzz... But couldn't really sleep well tho we are all very tired... Maybe because of the difference of the time between Malaysia and Italy.. We're all still not used to it...

To be continued...

P/S: I thought of just to summarise my trip to Italy but I just don't know why when I start typing I just couldn't stop it and it takes so long just to talk about my Day 1 in Italy.. Be patient ya my dear friends... =p *wink*
